Thanks to DD Tannenbaum!

Woo! Weekend’s work saved!

This merits a question for all you writers out there:

What software do you use to write novels, and how well does it perform after about page 250?

  1. I'm glad you got it back!I use Open Office on my eee, which seems very stable even for long documents. I've got a copy of Word on my old computer but I don't use it much anymore except to do some formatting that I can't figure out how to do in OO (specifically, having the header appear starting on page 2 rather than page 1).

  2. There's something marvelous about having your ass saved by a bearded gent named "Christmas Tree".Patrice, what do you write in? (I have Redgold Bridge on my kitchen table right now, for reading when I get back from grad school. I'm looking forward to it! I'll probably post a review-like object when I do get a chance to read it.)
